Draft Leicester Secular Society Rules NAME 1.1 The name of the Charity shall be Leicester Secular Society LIMITED LIABILITY 2.1 The liability of the Members is limited to the amount, if any,unpaid on the Shares held by them. OBJECTS 3.1 The Objects of the Charity are to carry on for the benefit of the community the education of the public in the subject of Secularism. 3.2 To further or benefit the residents of Leicester and Leicestershire, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education without reference to any transcendental or supernatural concepts and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents and promoting an inclusive and plural society fr...
